I had her song lyric (“I’m on the edge of glory, and I’m hanging on a moment of truth”) stuck in my head and it lead me to contemplate it as a spiritual concept. Which then made me think, wow, wouldn’t it be amazing if she could put all that talent and creativity into glorifying God? And my next thought was of her song “Judas” and half wondering if it would even be a possibility for her to “come to God”… (thank you ingrained childhood misunderstandings of the concept of the “unforgiveable sin” and being scared off by the first impression of her meaning <looks like I’m not the only one who has contemplated this> supposedly real back story here) but in the same thought I remembered Saul turned Paul and figured if he can have a changed heart, so can anyone. Reality is that if Lady Gaga wanted to embrace Jesus in her life, she would certainly be able to, as the only way anyone comes to God is because he is calling them.

I honestly have to appreciate such great artistic talent and expression no matter who it’s coming from because I know all talent and creativity comes from God, and whether or not we are using it for him does not change that. But I do like to imagine the amazing, goosebump-inducing kind of productions she would create to express Jesus if she knew him…
