Dear blog world: why are you so obsessed with outfit posts? I like outfits, too, but WHY? are we narcissistic? do we want to be annoyed that someone else looks so cute all the time? do we just want inspiration for our own outfits? I can’t quite figure out why we like them. I might just become a model because Mr. D is a photographer and it would be good practice for both of us. and maybe I’d be inspired to eat less after seeing all the pictures that I wouldn’t post up because of the chub hanging out here or there. too bad my outfits will most likely not be inspiring, LOL.

Dear artist inside: why are you being so elusive right now?

Dear fingers: why have you typed wonder so many times recently when you really meant wander? ugh.

Dear crowdfunding project: why did you not get down on your knees and beg for money more clearly instead of asking for social media mentions? because if the 78 people who have put you on facebook so far would have given just $5, we’d be $390 closer to our goal already. Have you seen our mini launch party over here? I bet you have $5. and if you have $20 or more we’ll have a dance party in your honor and post it up for all to see. and if you have $35 or more we’ll let you give us a dare and post that up! because we’re probably dumb like that.

Dear brain: it would really be helpful if you would stop going from zero to 60 in the two seconds right after you accidentally wake up in the morning. you really need more sleep.

Dear little church project: thank God you are done for the moment. I don’t need anything else weighing on the above-mentioned brain.

Dear Maverick: I think it is very funny that you woke up last night to go potty. but you were apparently confused and had already gone in your diaper.

Dear Maeve: you have been drawing, coloring, and making the most awesomely creative things lately! I love each and every one of them

(sorry, you’ll have to turn your head to look at it because it’s rather long and fits better this way, but it’s a bird that she made in three pieces and taped together. just for fun. the things that come out of her creative little mind refresh us almost daily.)

Dear God: what the flip are we doing? are we complete idiots? what do you do with complete idiots? because I sure know we can’t do anything on our own!
