we’re still aliiiiiiive!!!!!
Behind the Scenes Tour usfor awhile there I wasn’t quite sure… if there is no evidence of life online are you really alive? LOL, I’m sure there are lots of you who would scoff at that notion. the reality is, though, when you make online connections and then drop off of the face of the earth, it does sort of feel like part of you isn’t alive.
needless to say, we’re very grateful to be back!
we really need to figure out what we can do in situations like that. I tried to go to McDonald’s once but that was a bit of a nightmare. ok, not that bad, but definitely a thumbs down experience.
so since the last post we’ve been to various locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York City, and are now chilling in the DC area with my home girl, Kelly, and her crazy family
I’m starting to get the impression that I’m probably not going to have time to do a whole lot of writing during this tour. *sad face* but I still want to keep up as much as I can here. I have some pictures to post tomorrow, but for now let me just say that we had our monthaversary in NYC. (exactly one month prior to that we were visiting Jeff & Julie in Milwaukee and completely forgot to do anything! for the first time EVER! whoops.)
so this is kind of how NYC looked for us this time around.

So glad y’all are alive!
I know what you mean, because I’ve been hidden quite a bit over the past month too. I guess since I claimed I was never going back to school that it made me forget how hectic it can get now that we are getting Mr. Wonderful all set to start college. Add on top of that all the family celebrations & commitments to friends. No wonder some of us seem to disappear around this time of year!
Looks like y’all are having a great tour! Can’t wait to catch back up!

what is he going to school for?
hey Pocky, great to hear from you! I know how crazy getting your significant other through school is based on the experience of some friends of ours – he did it while working full time and it was definitely stressful at times, but he’s been done for 2 or 3 years now and I’m so happy for them to be out of that part of their life! we wish you guys the best as you start this new adventure
He’s going for Electrical Engineering/Computer Science. Told ya…we’re a geeky family.
That’s actually what my bachelor’s is in & I wish I could just hand him my degree because I have no desire to work in that now. Would save us a lot of money if it would work that way. LOL!

Despite the lack of internet access and time to post, I’m glad you guys are doing well!!

thanks Brittany, it’s frustrating, but just part of the adventure I guess
