Costa Rica Adventures Part 3 – Downtown San Jose and some other cool places.
We took the kids on a bus to downtown San Jose and had a bit of fun, then went back the next day for a bit of a date. On the trip with the kids we went and ate at the Mercado Central which is known for good cheaper food. This was not the case this time around, the next day we made our rounds at way better priced food spots. That night we discovered a problem with our nutella 🙁
We had a bunch of days of “cat hair” rain, which turned into a bunch of rainbows, including double rainbows, and we even drove past the start of one which was SO COOL.
David’s aunt took us to this cool animal rescue place.
David got his hair cut for the wedding and we finally got someone to cut it shorter (he has a scar bald spot, so this is the shortest it’s been since we’ve been together).
Then we also went to an awesome Mal Pais concert. The symphony even did the Star Wars theme song 🙂
David has a running frustration about the lack of bread and pastry variety in the US… Then, I came across a secret message about galloping horses and we drove to the end of the road up a mountain we hadn’t explored yet.
