They say never ask the time or date in your dreams.
Apparently things get really creepy and weird for some people who do that, and no one can figure out why.
In spite of how sensory and interactive my dreams sometimes are, I have yet to test it out. BUT according to my experience, seeing the time in a dream is fine.
(I woke up this morning remembering that I’d seen and noted the time in my dream, and had to go down a rabbit hole trying to find what the thing about time in dreams was that I had in the back of my head that you weren’t supposed to do.)
What is time but numbers? Numbers have long been recognized as more than just mathematical tools—they carry symbolic weight and spiritual significance across cultures and traditions.
I began paying attention to them in 2016 out of curiosity, with the understanding it could be another tool of communication bridging the spiritual and physical realms.
As with anything intentionally tuned to, the “signal” becomes clearer, seeming to suddenly explode with frequency.
I’m fully aware numbers were there all along and I merely decided to pay attention to them, but it does feel significant when the only time your attention is drawn to a clock is at those repeating numbers of the day. One day in the last few months I think I saw 1111, 1212, 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 1010, and 1111 again all in the same day. It’s especially funny when I see the same number multiple times in one day because our toaster oven and stove haven’t pretended to be set to the current time since I can even remember.
Interestingly, over the years my attention has rarely been drawn to numbers in other parts of life. Sometimes, but not frequently. Time has definitely been the focal point.
The majority of the time, I mainly feel encouraged when I see these numbers; like a nod that I’m in alignment, being guided in the “right” place at the “right” time, etc.
Towards the end of 2024, however, I had a dream in which there was a password that felt weirdly significant, so I paid special attention in order to remember it when I woke up.

I tend to sense meanings in a way that I have the general feel of something, but putting it into words can often be very clunky, like grasping at straws.
So I decided to plug in the numbers and meaning lists into an AI tool I like, to see if what it would articulate at all matched up to what I felt.

The progression from 9 to 4 to 6 could indicate:

The main words that stood out to me from 946 were maturity, support/protection, personal responsibility/physical realm. So I would say that it did speak to a bit of the feeling I had had, just at first musing. I still need to work my way through the rest of the dream, though.

I will say, when I ran it through AI, the same basic interpretation I had felt did kinda come out… So am I an AI? Is AI us? lol.
